How long does it take for them to grow that size?Unfortunately i can only identify half grown or full grown. They all look completely different till the 5th instar then its easy to identify.

Thanks for the website, this is the best pic I have, it keeps spinning silk.Well the tricky thing with butterflies and moths is we need to know the species so we can find the proper host plant. Can you take macro photos? There really is almost no way to tell what it is based on the pics provided.
You can submit cropped images to bugguide.net for an id, a genus id is generally good enough
