Need help spotting burn marks

Hello, you should get the linear 24 inch uvb. Lay it right on top of the cage any overhang is fine and i suggest getting a basking light with a dimmer switch. Keep your temp guage right where he sits to bask that way if temp is off you can just adjust the dimmer switch instead of altering the basking area. Btw a burn will intially look like a scrap and turns black once the skin dies. So if you see what looks like a scrape post pics on here to vaidate but the faster you treat with silver sulf cream the better results and minimize infection. chams take a very long time to heal from burns so avoid at all costs. If your cham likes to head for the top of the cage the second the door opens break him of that habit as many get burnt tails and sides from hitting the cover of the basking light. I am glad you found this site. Everyone is so giving with good info here.
