need help with eggs! too hot in the tropics!

my female veiled laid her clutch of 46eggs this morning. i have put all of them in a container with vermiculite. my problem is that in our place the temperature is always at 82F to 88F. what is the incubating temp. of veiled chameleon eggs? i saw the video where it says 70F to 75F, but i also read that they can be incubated at 82F? how true is it? and what do you guys suggest? im currently holding the eggs in my room leaving the AC on where the temp. is at 74.5F while im waiting for the digital temperature controller i have ordered. on what temp. should i set the temperature at? thanks!

Thanks camimom. I keep them in a cooler with ice just to keep the temperature low. I hope they survive. The temp is currently at 73-78.

I would look into buying an incubator that can lower temperatures. It would be helpful since you're in a warm area. I've heard of people incubating them anywhere from 70 degrees all the way to 85 degrees. I recommend a more temp right in the middle 74-78 degrees unless you want to control the temps to break a diapause (but it isnt necessary with veiled eggs.)

It is when the eggs go into a dormant period. Once the diapause is broken (usually by raising the temps to simulate a warming period in the wild) the eggs begin to develop.
