need help with my baby 2 week old veiled

Can you upload some pictures of your actual chameleon for us? It doesn't sound like he's had the best start at life. Very irresponsible to give such a young chameleon to an inexperienced keeper.
I think you shouldn't handle him at all - chameleons are to be admired, they will never show you love and affection in the way other pets do.
You should look at the reptibreeze screen cages, I use these and they are the best unless you make your own cage and they aren't expensive.
The absolute must when it comes to owning a chameleon is to do a lot LOT of research and make sure you have a good understanding on how to raise him.

It can seem overwhelming once you realize all the care he will require - gut loading feeders, supplementing, hydration and keeping humidity up not to mention UVB lighting a basking spot and adjusting temperatures for him BUT you will get into a routine and it'll become second nature to you before you know it and your lil guy will grow to be nice and healthy.

Edit: Please don't spray your chameleon directly with a spray bottle! He will not appreciate it and will become even more stressed. Use a dripper system if you can or just mist inside the cage avoiding spraying the chameleon directly.
