Needing some help

hello everyone!!! just got my membership today. but sadly i need some advice. about four days ago my seven month old chameleon Treeco, gained my worries. I had noticed that he had some little pieces of shed around his right eye, not nothing out of the ordinary so i thought he was gonna take care of it. well the day after i noticed it i think it got extremely worse. i think because the shed hardened around his eye he was not able to close his right eye and it must have gotten dry. ever since i have noticed it, i have been doing everything in my power to help him. i have given him showers, misting with warm water, and i recently bought him some saline eye drops to keep it moisturized. i'm so worried that he can no longer see out of his right eye. this hurts my heart so much. i am going to take him to the vet very soon. anyone have any other suggestions. i have no patience anymore and i'm so scared he cant see. thanks for any help or feed back. it sucks that my first post of my own has to be like this.

I miss him about 3 times a day. I am keeping his enclosure very humid as well.

thanks. umm i have always been under the impression that he is a male. my mind would be totally blown if he, was a she lol. i'm just so bummed that he has been doing great up this happened. cause i feel like everything that he will try to do after this will be 10x harder.

Why do you think he can't see out of it? Nothing is blocking his eye from what I can see. Does have any tarsal spurs on his back on his heels? He also looks a little dehydrated, how long do you mist for when your misting?

i only fear he cannot see because his reaction out of his right eye is very irregular compared to his left eye. i have been also watching how he has been climbing and he seems to struggle more when advancing his feet on his right side. i mist him about 3-4 times a day for about 3 minutes. haven't had any other urate colors except for white.

Have you been misting his eyes directly? He may have an actual piece of shed in there that is causing the problem. Is he squinting at all or closing that eye? What is your lighting system like? Any strong bulbs?

I have been misting directly. He has not been trying to close his eye or anything. He had actually had a harder time closing his eye than keeping it open. My lighting system is a 60 watt uvb bulb.
