Never seen these colors before?

I have this from yesterday if that helps. They're about the length of 2 copic markers.

I feel little spurs on his feets and now im really confused
Maybe i have an intersex chameleon
also there's a little bulge where his vent is, if that means anything

You shouldn't just feel them, they should be visible. Especially since she's older than a few months

Now these are two chameleons (not mine nor my picture) that are 4+ months old. Notice how you can see the male's (left) tarsal spur even from such a distance?

Maybe they're not visible because their legs are really swollen? sorry i dont mean to seem really stubborn but im just kinda in denial? that would mean they would live a shorter lifespan and ... i dont want that

I'd have to see clearer pictures to be sure. And don't worry about the stubbornness, I understand how and why you're in denial. Just remember that no matter what sex you have a beautiful animal that you're taking care of.

I find that this quote applies: "And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years."

As long as you do everything that you can for her, she will have a major impact on you, and you on her.

Stop worrying about what you want. There is a life involved here. I wish I could give you an easy answer that would fix everything, but you are responsible for a life. You need to think of this life and stop believing that your chameleon is unique and different. The behaviors that are being displayed are warning signs. Please read the caresheets and learn all you can about chameleons so you can be successful.

Sorry this sounds harsh. I just think you need to understand that the "personality" you are dealing with is not human. I believe that chameleons can develop routines that they are used to, and even can "enjoy" certain activities, but we can't decide what they will like.

im stubborn about the sex, not about anything else. i agree about some behaviors being warnings, others are just how he's always been. i know im responsible for his life, but what's on my mind right now is that: is my time with him going to be cut short because he'll life a shorter life just because he's actually a female?

@Decadancin is making a really good point. You're worried about a shorter lifespan that comes with a female, but you cannot forget the risks your chameleon is facing no matter what sex Slurpy is. There is gravity to this situation and you need to get in the habit of reminding yourself that.

So, keep asking for advice and listen to it! You can save her if you put your mind to it. People here may cause you some pain when trying to tell you to get your act together, but it's only a fraction of the pain you'll experience if your chameleon were to die now.

I hope I am not coming across the way I think I sound. I'm sorry. I just hope you can learn all that you can about these amazing creatures.

i know i can save them, but even when that does happen it's still horrible that my time with him is going to be shorter either way.
im really hyper sensitive about this stuff and i think i woke up slurpy from my crying...sorry bud

All I can tell you to do is to live in the now. Right now you have a chameleon who is alive. Right now you have a companion. It's really hard to love something to your greatest potential when all you're thinking about is how it might go bad later on. So, as hard as it is, just focus on caring for the present Slurpy and don't obsess over Slurpy from 1 year in the future

Also @Decadancin, sorry if my previous post sounded like it was directed at you. I've seen a lot of people get angry with phantom and I was just trying to rationalize it all.

I didn't actually take it like that at all. I was just commenting as I went along. Sorry if you thought I was talking about your comments.

I'm not angry either. Maybe just trying to get the point across so I can help. I really just want the best for the chameleon and the owner.
