Hi everyone
Just got my baby male and he's supposed to be around 6wks old
I cup fed him today but only ate 1 cricket
I've noticed his enclosure gets really dry pretty fast , any suggestions ? I work from home so I've been hand misting often.
Also does he look too skinny or it's ok since he's a baby ?

He looks a little dehydrated. You can wrap a piece of shower curtain around 3 sides of his cage.

Keep in mind baby veils can show a little more rib bone than others, especially when scared with a human or camera. It happens when they flatten out. For you humidity, I would recommend a hearty live plant like a pothos or schefflera. The pothos he can eat the leaves if he needs moisture. Both are pretty hard to kill and will help. Give him time to acclimate. Veil babies are notoriusly nervous when brought to a new home. It may take him a week or two to really warm up to you. Just mist when can. Try and get a decent digital RH gauge from the pet store or amazon (Zoomed $19.99 temp/RH combo). Enjoy.

Does he look better to you? He ate very god today & yesterday I don't know if he's drank anything and the humidity ranges between 50-65% during the day. I mist pretty often.

I took a pic of the thermometer I bought and a pic of him today.
