New baby vield with one eye closed?

I just adopted a baby vield chameleon yestraday day and i came to go look at him to see how he was in his new cage and he had one eye closed and the other open so i watched him a bit to see what was wrong and minutes later he rubbed his eye on one of the branches in the cage everytime i come near him he opens his eye and it looks fine. I know chameleons arnt suppose to sleep during the day but is night and i have his lamp on. Please help me he is sooo cute. I dont want him to have a disease.

The vield chameleon is a he and yes Razl (that is his name) is keeping the other eye open.

Why is his lamp on at night?

Yes i just got him a two days ago, his lamp is on at night causr chameleons need 12 hours of light and 12 hours of sleep. So my lamp is timed to turn on at 10:00 am. And turn off at 10:00 pm.

Its about 7 weeks old big on crickets i handle him for about five min each day i uss repti calciun with D3 repti calcium without D3 and multivitamin

It's not a clear pic . Often the sex is incorrect if it's a petsmart/petco chameleon. I'm not sure where your baby came from . I'm not sure how much history you have on Razl . If he had a recent shed there could be shed stuck , it could be several different things but with no history it's hard to say .

Im confused to you keep his lamp on at night or did you just turn it on to take the pic in the first post? What do you do for misting?

I believe light schedule is 10am to 10pm .
