I bought a new cage 3 days ago. Before I had a cage with only screens, but now there's 3 wooden walls and one wall made of glass. The temperature is just below 80s at the day and the basking spot is between 90-100 degrees. but he likes to be at the top corner of the cage and he have a dark color. dosnt he like tha cage? or whats the problem, before he loved to sit at the basket spot but now he almost brings the whole day up in the corner.. Why?

He's a 1 year old yemen chameleon.

He appears scared and is probably hiding, which is why he is stationary and dark. If nothing else, the socket that he's sitting above in the last picture should never have a bulb in it because it's a burn risk waiting to happen. If he can reach it (which he obviously can) it's only a matter of time before he steps on it, sits on it, or falls on it and gets a severe burn. The cage looks really nice, but I don't how great it is for him...I'm sure others will chime in...

WoW! That setup looks great! In some of the information I've read, it says that veild's can get stressed out by moving them to a new enclosure and that you should usually purchase the enclosure you're going to keep them in for the rest of their lives rather than upgrading. Maybe that's the case here? I'm sure he just needs to adjust though. Hope all goes well :)

You must be more careful with heat in a glass cage. Hopefully you are using a digital thermometer and getting accurate readings - though I don't see why he'd be dark if he was overheating - they would normally get lighter.

A new habitat can stress and confuse your chameleon. Hope everything goes well.

Fill out the how to ask for help form if you'd like so we can get a better idea on your set up.

As ferret posted you should remove or cover that socket in the cage. Also I would add more ventilation to the cage along the bottom and top of the side walls to create more of a chimney effect. I see some vents in the front but it needs more in my opinion. What are you doing for watering/misting system? You will need the added ventilation to help keep air from becoming stagnant. I wouldnt put the basking bulb inside the cage either, you will need to put in on top of the cage outside of contact from the chameleon. Otherwise the cham is going to be burned.

The bulb is in the socket in the first two pics... And I believe I can still see the Cham above it.

The lights seem way too accessable.

A cage like that can be made to work for a Veield... Just gives you more to consider. I think you some tweaking to do.
