New cage!

I did Dracaena and Croton in my Veileds cage a few years back.....

I just bought a Hibiscus at Home Depot .. 10" pot for $10.. but I think it was on sale... if not.. I'd be willing to bet Riverside would have it ... I've heard they arent very easy to keep long term ... but i'm hoping I have a bit of luck ..

I haven't yet been to Home Depot, so I'll have to check there next. I can probably drag the fiance out there tomorrow. =D I need to get something though, I think Zergling would appreciate some more plants to wander. She really seems to like her pothos, she sleeps in it every night. ^_^

Alrighty, so I went out to one of the local nurseries and found some hibiscus! So this is the final setup with Zergling's new flowers. ^_^

And this is what she thought of me taking her picture:

Please note that this cage is a work in progress, im not done with the remodel. But you can get an idea of my "tree"!

Sorry, don't know why my pics keep rotating :(

That enclosure looks awesome! I also love that tree. I will have to keep my eyes open for one of those. I keep buying plants for the chameleons then changing them out. My whole house is starting to look like a rainforest.

Its a draceana, called song of india
Easy to keep, lots of things to play on for the babies!

Wow, all the draceana I've found are all puny, I suppose they'd end up like that eventually though. That's really awesome. I'll have to consider that when I get another chameleon, because we all know it will happen some day. ;D

I have one opinion, you should have a vine under the light to create a basking area for your cham. Just a opinion! :D:D:D:D

Thank you, there are 4, ranging from 6 to 9 inches below basking and different placement for his enjoyment :)
kinda think that would be husbandry 101, I hope :)

Darc, I actually bought it that size!, and it wasn't expensive either. Unfortunately it didn't come from the standard Lowes or Home Depot. But I am sure they could order one, I know they carry the smaller size

Wow, that's pretty awesome. I've only checked out Lowes and a local nursery. Lowes had some small ones, the nursery didn't have much of anything for chameleons unfortunately. But I think I want to try the dracaena next time. It's really a very pretty looking tree, and definitely looks great for chameleons. Thanks for sharing! =D
