New Drainage set up!!!!!

So, before tonight when i made this awesome drainage system for glens cage i was consistently wiping excess water with a towel every day from the bottom of the cage (I hated this, and I think glen did as well, this is his space after all). Tonight is a new night for the both of us!!! I bought a wrack/table thing to put the cage on, and removed the plastic square base thing that came with the cage. I then glue gunned in screen purchased from home depot to the bottom of the cage so crickets and so on can not escape. Then i placed 2 large plastic totes under the enclosure to catch all the water as it drained through the bottom screen! So excited about this haha:D:ROFLMAO:(y)!!! I also uploaded a pic from the side just so u can see the inside of the cage better.

Looks great, I'm gonna have to do this one of these days ...

They also have cement mixing buckets available in that measurement, you may only need one bucket. Looks great! I don't mean to be a critique about it. For mine I use a 20L pail.

Haha it's funny you say that. I was at target and all of the bins were literally 1 or 2 inches too small in either direction so I had to buy 2. Good to know though thanks!

Ive been looking for a cheap and functional drainage system diy idea, this is fantastic! Great work (y)(y)(y)
Thanks! By the way- I bought the glue gun at marshalls and if you see the comment below mine @Sloppysponge mentioned a larger bucket you can get. But If you do end up getting the 2 totes like I did, you can put clear scotch storage tape in between the 2 boxes so it doesn't leak through the crack.

Next time you can get the screen rubber and put it in like the rest of the panels and save some time with the glue. But I say if it works hell yea.
