New Enclosure Preliminary View

So for 2 solid days I've been working on a new enclosure for my new High-casqued Chameleon / Hoenhelii. Here is what I've got done so far. The top will have a pitched roof and the bottom will be enclosed, both with rattan/bamboo. The 2x2's will have rattan trim also. Still looking for another perfect branch and another plant. I cut out the screen on the bottom and sunk the planters to give the cham more room and to give it that "natural" look.

Rocko supervised the whole thing and I got his approval. He hung out and watch and at one point even came down off his branch, walked over to me and started to crawl up my leg  he is very inquisitive. Rocko fell asleep and I'm done for now.:)

Awesome! I love the idea with the plants. I'm going to keep that in mind when I build Thomas' big boy cage (i've got a while!):D

Great job!

Donna I want to be like you! You are just so creative and good at making what you dream up. The cage is looking great. You have yet another lucky chameleon on the way to your house.:)

The inside is 24x24 and 30" tall. This is for a smaller species than a panther or veiled. You could always build one like it but larger. For a panther or veiled I would go 36x36 and 24" wide. This is just my preference. :)

the one 1 i wanna get is 36x24x24 u think that should be fine for at list 2 years

That looks great to me! I always think the plant pot bit is wasted space as your cham never goes past it so it's a great way to get around it! Well done!

The cage looks great Donna!

Thanks Brian, I didn't really have anything in mind when I started and trust me it isn't squared up, LOL. That's okay I have ways of hiding it! :D. The only thing I didn't do is cut the wood. I love Lowes, I can go in there and they will cut anything I want and as much as I want. :D
