Hey everyone, started work on my enclosure this evening. Its no where close to finished but i just wanted to see if you think im on the right path. Got a pothos in the left corner. A scheffelera at the bottom. If you look to the far right on the outside of the enclosure there is another pothos plant i will put in sometime tomorrow. Thanks for the feedback and advice.

Thanks everyone i found these ledges at home depot, they were like $10 a piece. Planning on walking along the river and gathering some sticks this evening after school. Ill post another update in the comments later

Is that garden trellis you're using? How do you have it secured to the sides of the cage? I love this idea!

I found these garden trellis at home depot for $10 piece. It worked out perfect because my cage is a 2 by 2 by 4 and the trellis was 4 by 2. To secure it i got some 50lb fishing wire and tied them in each corner against the cage. It fits perfect and is extremely secure. I highly recommend it :)

Looking better and better! The horizontal additions are really good, but I would be sure you have at least one horizontal branch/perch/whatever 6-8" underneath your basking lamp (hard to tell the scale from the pictures, but it looks to my eyes like the ones you have are lower down than that)

Thank you :) gonna put in the basking spot tonight and some of the fake plants i have here and there and i think its pretty good. Where im estimating to put the basking spot the temp is exactly 93 degrees F. Think thats good for a 3 to 6 month old male panther?

Actually the basking light should be 6-8" from your chams back or crest to avoid burns...check temp to be sure...you can raise or lower branch or light to adjust temp. Looking awsome. I checked my local Home depot and they don't carry what you used for ledges...I'm going to look online though. I plan on starting Lil Louie's big cage in the next month or so since he is only 3 mo. old.

When Argo outgrows his baby cage I'm gunna have to make a stop at home depot :)

Yes go to home depot! This way you dont have to worry about ripping your sceeen :)
I've learned that the hard way lol. It's so easy to poke holes into and tear. Plus before my trip to home depot today I had to worry about everything on top of the cage. I had to hook my double dome light to the wall and my next step is to hang the dripper from the wall just to stop the roof of the cage from bowing. just need to wait for little argo to calm down a day or two before drilling that hole above his cage.
