Hi there my names Stephen! I have just got myself a panther chameleon today!
I have had veiled & Pygmy chameleons in the past so i know the general care behind them!

I need some help with the sexing of it though!

I was told it was a 4 month old ambilobe male.

I would just like some more experienced panther keepers to see if i was told the right info as i know its a bit tricky when they are young

thanks in advance and i look forward to hearing from you!:D

Hi welcome to the forum. I can't be sure but colors look female. Can you post a fairly good close up of the back to tail section? Take the picture from the side. Also I can't seem to enlarge it on my iPad so I may need to wait to get home.

Hi thanks for the reply! I will try again tomorrow I had a go at taking a picture of the base of it's tail but it wouldn't sit still! Full of beans! Ha

Well that sounds like a male, we female are just so proper and all. Lol

ahahaha, this made me LOL. :D

Because it's so young, I wouldnt want to say one way or the other if its a boy or girl. I'm leaning boy, just because I like to go against the grain. lol.

hey i am gonna take a picture of its tail in a few hours but one thing i have noticed is its colour has changed dark and i have read that the lighter colours (peach/brown) tends to lean toward female but its now dark

Quality isnt very good with this one as i hd to zoom in a bit as to not disturb it eating

Tail picture to follow soon!:)
