Any thoughts? Does his eyes look good? Thinking he may be getting ready for a shed. One little orange spot in his poo this morning...Not Happy right now! Encouragemnet is always accepted!

I'm no pro but he looks fine to me. Its a panther? Cause from what I have seen that brownish color is normal at a young age. But again I have only had veileds and an adult jackson.

But his eyes don't appear to be sunken. Is he active and constantly moving his eyes?

And if he's knew to you and to a new home just offer plenty of water and keep qn eye on his urate.

I have had him 2 weeks! I felt I was doing everything right! lol The yesterday I see someones post, and I eyeballed him all day! lol He did act strange yesterday, maybe it was me constantly looking at him. He is very active! Does laps for most of the day, I do get to see him eat and drink. He is a Panther, Ambanja to be exact. yesterday he went down in the umbrella tree and kinda hid from me till lights out. His color was a muted brown, but his eyes where open and always searching to see if I was spying I think! lol He was up and ready for grub this morning, he ate good and has since went about his business as usual. I am just second guessing myself! lol

Well as far as I can tell, he seems perfectly healthy! Congrats on him, he should turn out beautiful!

Wow I hope. I battle humidity sooo much! I really think my digital Hygrometer is off! lol It shows 14-16% When it is dry! I have a dripper and a fogger. I mist with a hand bottle probably 5-6 times a day. I am constantly worrying he is gonna dehydrate, even with the fogger making it look like a frog tank, the highest I get is 60-70%. I will update this as much as I can. I amhoping to get an Ambiliobe and a female of either one soon too! :)

Humidity doesnt need to be constantly high. A couple of peaks in humidity will be fine. Aslong as he drinks well when sprayed or when the dripper is on you do not need to worry too much about humidity.

He looks good.. full eyes, straight bones, normal color.

One thing I did notice is the leaves of your umbrella plant look like they have some residue. Did you wash the plant's leaves after buying it from the store and placing it into the cage? There can be a lot of fertilizer / pesticide buildup on plants from the store. You will need to clean those leaves ASAP, as the cham will drink off them and potentially can poison himself.

very nice pickup, I did not notice but now that you mention it, it does look a little risky.

I did wash the plant in the bath tub actually! lol And a couple times and rinsed with the shower. I really hope I got it all cuz I didnt notice untill it dried all the way and removing it now would mean stressing him really bad again! He is not afraid of me it seems but will not let me handle him, he runs in fear so I leave him alone as far as that goes. The good news is he was back to normal today, all over the place and normal color all day. About an hour before lights out he gets in his sleepy spot and waits for the lights to go down.
I really hope all the nastys came off the plant before it went in....

If you have hard water the plants will become stained like that. Even my filtered water stills leaves behind mineral residues.

That was my thought as well. I use ro/di water in my fogger, dripper, and spray bottle. I did wash the plant in the bath tub with antibacterial soap, and rinsed in the shower. Hoping it was just the water leaving a residue. He ate really good this morning and looks great today. He went straight to the feeder cup after I put in the crickets.
Does anyone have any suggestions on "treats" small enough for him? Silk works and meal worms seem rathr large. Maybe the mealworms would be fine as they arent real thick?

He looks good to me. You say he's always moving around the cage, give him some time to settle down. You say he's eating and drinking. That is always a good sign and his eyes looked good. Look likes things are going great for you. Keep up the good work.

trying!!! lol I have room for 2 more so he may gt a g/f soon! lol I also want a Jacksons! He doesnt move around like pacing, he just does his rounds during the day. He seems alot more comfortable after putting his vine back in.
