new here from lawn guyland

Why do you call it 'lawnguy land'?

well, he's trying to put it in how we "New Yorkers" would pronounce it.
he's from Long Island, NY.

true dat. ;)

Harry

hahaha ^^^ he got it... lawng-uyland is how we pronounce it, spelt long island

if you dont mind me getting off topic
what has been done to the evo 8.
Gt35r? anything major

its actually a 2006 Evolution IX MR SE,

pretty much heres all the info on it, very mild mods, but it ran 12.1 @ 113 first pass out, and beats up on evo's with much more done to them

a vid of me racing an Evo X with FULLL bolt-ons, cams, and race gas

i'm gonna assume you own an RX-7 ???

no sir a swapped civic
there is about 4 civics running 10's in columbus,ga.

And as far as ga there is nothing but jdm civics and integras, a few evo's and wrxs but mostly hondas

all you need next is a built bottom end and you can boost the hell out of it

i got a 02 mustang gt( cammed, full exhaust, cold air intake, chip, short shifter and aftermarket body throttle) runs high 11's...sorry off topic

ah i c, i saw the FC in the name and assumed rotary, hondas are big in NY too, back in 04 we had a few civics running 10's on LI, a buddy of mine owns NRG tech, chris miller, he went 8's this year, set the world record

and stock bottom end can take 30-32psi, just need new head studs, and enough fuel to boost it that much... on my 12.1 pass i was running 27psi safely

i have a bunch of friends with stangs, high 11's are pretty impressive with those mods, what were the other stats on that run ??? 60', 1/8th ET & trap ?

Ok I get it now. Kinda Danny Devito accent. Funny. :)

haha naow ya gawt it

yeah he must have cut a nasty 60 ft to run high 11's on bolt ons.

And yeah just get arp headstuds, and you can also use c16 race gas.

I was thinking maybe you were a bit of a 'lawnchair Larry' type! *shrugs* :D

Never seen An American accent 'written' before! :)

Shannon it is snowing here today. The temp is 16 which I thought was too cold for it to snow but I guess I was wrong.:(

Its been snowing on and off for the last three days here.
Today is was -18C with the windchill (I think thats around 0F?)

there were a few REALLY cold days last winter, down to -32C with windchill (-25F)

Sometimes I wish I lived somewhere tropical...
:p

Yea depending on his trap he had to cut a 1.6-1.7
I'll probably throw some head studs in soon, but I don't need C16, too expensive, by me we have a gas station that carries 100oct unleaded, for a street car daily driven C16 isn't quite the best idea, I'll be replacing 02 sensors every few weeks lol

A bit off topic but how bout those chameleons hahahaha

no need, i can make pretty good power on 100oct without any of the downfalls... not a bad idea for a big turbo though
