New incubator

Installed the flex watt tape and pre-wired for the light. Now time for a test run.

Did you get the humidistat, and temp control? I was looking at that box myself for a cheap project. It's missing a few features I want though. How accurate? Intuitive?

It's a pretty cheap control. I think I paid 15 bucks for it shipped.
I'm not sure which control it is. It's pretty easy to use. It's been pretty dam accurate so far. I think it was off 1 deg when I got it but your able to calibrate it. Which leaves it dead on.
Hope that helps. :)

its a very nice build... and very clean. before i saw yours, I was scouring Craigslist for a glass door mini so i could do the same thing..

STC 1000 same as I use. It reads in Celsius, but you can reflash the firmware with an Arduino to display in Fahrenheit.

200 mm fan from microcenter, with lights.... 16$ at microcenter in orange county..... lol...

Mine isn't the STC 1000. It already came in Fahrenheit. It's almost the same but the programming is a little different. That's how it came out of the box.
I also have a STC 1000 spare.

You will find the 11 inch flexwatt will help keep a steady temp. I afraid that what you are using is to small but I have never tried it with that size so I hope I'm wrong.
Good luck

I have the 4" right now. I didn't wanna use flex tape. Surprisingly it's working just fine. I think that the cooler is so well insulated it doesn't matter what I use. It's been hold steady better then I imagined. :D

Ah, most likely the ITC 1000. I considered that one, but you can't reprogram the PIC on it AFAIK. I can set mine up for temperature cycling/ramping by reprogramming the internal IC. Good for night drop, and also for gentle diapause ramping.
