When you get the crickets put like 2 dozen in that run you built... He will see all the movement and start to use the run. This will get him ready to use the feeder run from Sunset Chameleons also.Update: Crickets will be here any day now. I ordered a lunch log from Sunset Chameleons.
He is eating about 2 silk worms free range each day with about 4 bsf that are free range. They are larger than 10 small crickets would be so I am hoping that he is getting his fill ok. He did poop today again.
Also enjoy this adorable photo...my little stick with eyes. And yes he is unknowingly squeezing a silkworm with one of his hands

Wonderful thank you for the feedback I will do that. I am hoping they arrive today. Any feedback on the best place to put the feeder run? Its up high for now but I question if he can see it well? When you get the crickets put like 2 dozen in that run you built... He will see all the movement and start to use the run. I like to drop mine down just a bit so they can see into the bowl portion. You can see Beman's in the first picture. And then in the other one it was of my three enclosures. So all different sizes and then you can see the brown feeder runs and where I placed them. I like to have branches come right up to them. Worked really well for me when they are not used to them or really young.Wonderful thank you for the feedback I will do that. I am hoping they arrive today. Thank you so much for the visual! I'll move mine now to reflect what I see you have done in yours.I like to drop mine down just a bit so they can see into the bowl portion. Its really low though now right? I keep mine up near basking since that is where they seem to spend most of their time.Ugh I forgot I have all the corrugated plastic to make his enclosure a hybrid. This is where it is now. Does this look ok? I just hate that he isn't eating a super ton.

Leave it there for now if he noticed it. If they are tiny crickets add another dozen so he can really see the movement. Its right in the middle of the enclosure. I got the crickets and put them in there and I saw him eat at least 2. Should I move it or see how he does with it in this place? (FYI the crickets were itty bitty unfortunately so I ordered 500 more the next size up.)
Will do. I threw as many as I could in this morning and will continue to add more throughout the day. They get out easily so if I see them on the ground I throw them away.Leave it there for now if he noticed it. If they are tiny crickets add another dozen so he can really see the movement.
I know he is so cute. I’m totally in loveI can’t even with that little face and those eyes!!! cutest thing!!
That is good... They won't always go every day. And he may be but your just not seeing them since they are so small.Sharing some pics of my little cutie today.
He pooped again today. So far he has pooped every other day since the 17th. Is that good for a juvenile or should he be pooping daily?
Thanks so much! I’m just tying to be really up on my care for him. I know they can go downhill fast when they are this small. That is good... They won't always go every day. And he may be but your just not seeing them since they are so small.
The more you watch the more you learn... Your just being a good keeper. Thanks so much! I’m just tying to be really up on my care for him. I know they can go downhill fast when they are this small.
