New Jackson's Xantholophus

Hello Chameleon Friends! I caught little Bilbo eating from his little feeder cup. I have also seen him eating from his feeder run quite a bit. Looks like he is starting to find his food stations now! Once he gets those down well, I'll start phasing out the free range silkworms because that makes me nervous due to possible cleanliness issues I may run into with that. Photos attached, enjoy his cuteness :)

Ohhhhhh Bilbo your too cute!

Here is my baby boy. He finally found the bird feeder cup that has all his delicious little worms (bsfl, silks, supers or wax depending on the day) and as you can see he took to the lunch log immediately.

Warning: Cuteness overload :). Love this little boy! He is growing for sure!! His horns look a little bigger to me as well as his body. He is eating well, pooping every other day and puts himself to bed about an hour before lights turn off. He still isn't sure of me, and hides behind branches every time I open his enclosure door, but that's ok we will go at his pace...and if he never gets there, thats fine too :)

Adorable!

He is adorable for sure! My guy goes to bed about an hour before lights out as well. I’ve had my Eustis for a little over 2 years and he’s never gotten used to me. He was from pet o and who knows where their supplier got him from. He could have been wild caught in Hawaii for all I know. I’ve had two other Jackson’s xanths before and they were both very friendly but they came from breeders so were used to people. I hope your little one gets friendly but give him time, he’s still little yet.

Oh totally. I don’t have any expectations honestly. He will be who he is and that is ok with me. So long as he is healthy.
