Just received this good looking guy in this morning from Snakes at Sunset's recent Madagascar import. Absolutely amazing chameleon, I'm so thrilled to have him after a long break from the hobby. Gave him a full hour shower on arrival (he drank a LOT), and he's eagerly eating crickets and waxworms. Very laid back personality, for a wild caught animal he seems surprisingly comfortable around people. Tomorrow I'll begin dosing some probiotics and then do a fecal in about 10 days but I'm not too worried, he seems in exceptionally good condition.

Good looking guy. I have a pair from last years import, both of mine and everyone else's that I talked with about them came in with heavy loads of coccidia so be careful with your quarantine. They love lots of water and favorite foods for mine seem to be various roaches and supers. The male I have won't eat crickets but the female does.

I'll definitely be watching for coccidia as I've heard that with this species and I'm prepared to treat if/when needed. My method of dealing with WC charms is a bit more hands off at first. I feel giving them time to settle in and let the gut bacteria stabilize is more likely to result in successful treatment for parasites than hitting an already stressed animal immediately (in some cases anyway). I'll definitely update with progress, can't wait to see him start to put on some weight.

Don't buy from them again. I had a sick tortoise delivered and he didn't make it.
Sorry to hear. There's always a risk buying live reptiles online but I had a really good experience with them including getting photos of the individual cham I was getting so I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. Especially since they are one of a very few bringing in Madagascar these days.
