Greetings everyone!! ive been on this forum for about a week now. all ive been doing is reading..reading..and more reading!! im the type of guy who ALWAYS researches anything before getting something. even if its a toaster. I currently have a reef tank..bearded dragon..and a leopard gecko. reptiles were from expos, and corals and fish from reef shows. tomorrow I will be getting my baby nosey be from Jay at Franken Chams. he held on to him for 2 days since I cant get to him until friday due to work. I dont care what that review said, hes a kool (and funny) dude. plus I like the fact hes very local, about 20mins away. I met with him monday and got a 16x16x30 zoomed cage, he threw in a bunch of those new magnet rods hes working on. theyre awesome by the way. Im also getting a 24" double bulb Arcadia fixture with t5HO lights. being a reef guy, I know a lot about special lighting requirements. I figure if im gonna spend a lot on the cham, might as well go with the best of the best as far as equipment. I already have crickets, dubias, supers, and a few horn worms currently, and will get more food at expo on Sunday. also im using a simple 25w flood light for basking, because a 40w was reading 95-100 on my temp gun. not looking to get an auto mister yet since I only have 1 cham.....for now..hahaha!! any advice and tips for a newbie is greatly accepted. ill post pics once I bring him home. I can't wait!! my wife is also so excited to see him!! [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]

That's awesome and congrats on getting started on your first cham! Nosey Be's are really beautiful :)

Looking forward to pics and updates!

Hi

Hi, I am happy for you and I KNOW you will love him. I have 4 Nosy Bes, and just love them all. Any name picked out, yet?

as far as a name. wife and I will decide on a name once we see him. my BD is littlefoot and my leo is sunkist. so all depends on how he looks and all

Hi and welcome! Nosy be's are absoloutely beautiful, I've never owned one myself but I've seen many in photos. This is a great place to gather info and to ask any questions you may have

Welcome to the forum - good to see another Jersey member - I got my panther from Jay and I've been very happy with him. He delivered him and helped me with my set up/care for my baby jackson while he was there-

I'm also new here and from Jersey, just southern NJ. So, welcome from another jersey member. I'm more in the research stage, wife and I saw a panther at a local store and decided that will be the next reptile. I've also got a reef tank (90 gallon) and setup since Dec. 2014, but my other lizard is a basilisk. I've had bearded dragons in the past, great lizards.
