Hello everyone from Cham Forums!
Long story short, I've been looking to get a blue-bar ambilobe panther cham for a long time. Been heavily researching them for a couple months, and going to local reptile expos to interact with them (que nosy-be in my avatar).
Feeling almost ready to bring home my new guy - very excited!
But before I do that I just want to get my setup ready to ensure I can maintain proper heat + humidity.

On that note, I'm somewhat torn when it comes to the lighting and UVB.
When I was looking at ZooMed's "Chameleon Kit" it included the 'Mini Deep Dome Combo Lamps', but then realized that the kit also included the Medium ReptiBreeze enclosure, while I plan on getting the XL. I was initially going to go with the mini combo lamps, but now I have doubts. Thoughts? Successes?

Or, should I just go with the 'terrarium hood' to ensure more UVB coverage, and then a separate dome for the basking bulb?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! :D

You will be much better off with a T5 style. Lightmyreptiles is s site sponsor and a great one to talk too. Getting everything dialed in and just like u like it, prior to your new arrival, is definitely the right thing to do for all parties involved. You and your Cham.

Yeah what Dakato said. Can I blame my typo on auto-correct and the new update on my iPhone?

Hello I am a Arcadia seller if you go with a adult cham I highly recommend. A cage that is 2ft in width 2 feet in depth and 4 feet in height i also recommend this fixture and bulb combo http://lightyourreptiles.com/24hot5dobufi.html the price is great and the fixture comes with both bulbs. This fixture will last the chams lifetime THE BULBs ROUGHLY EVERY 9 TO 10 MONTHS NEED TO BE CHANGED<<<< very important. make sure to provide on area of shade aka top left corner and top right is a goo spot for a basking buld Arcadia also sells basking bulbs. I always recommend this fixture as a good starter how ever if live plants are what your into I recommend this http://lightyourreptiles.com/trblhot524qu.html

The light combination will grow plants and give a great and as close as artificial can come to a natural sun replication
