New member question on size and sexing

Hi everyone!!! I am new to this forum. I placed this question under Chameleon breeding, didn't receive any response, and realized it might not be appropriate for that category. If you already read this, I apologize, I'm not sure how to delete the other post. I just purchased a baby Panther by a breeder I trust. I was told he is right around 3.5 months. I have looked at many other pictures of Panthers at this age and he seems small, but very healthy. I was told he was a male as well. I am not sure if that is the case or not, and because he is so small it is very difficult to tell. Any help on size/age and sex would be appreciated. I'm going to attach some pictures as well. Thanks

hey there

in my opinion he looks younger than 3.5 months, more like 2 months

and since he looks that small, cant really tell, but i'm almost betting its a male

he/she looks good none the less

Yeah, probably more around 2 months but some grow faster than others. Just keep feeding him well. Definitely a male though:)

I agree that is a male. If he is 3.5 months then he is one of the smaller in the clutch I would bet. Looks healthy. Good luck with him!

Thanks everyone I really appreciate it. I feel like this could become an obsession lol. I've spent countless hours researching and preparing my little guys en-closer and just keep adding more including adding more and more food choices (just purchased some Silkworm eggs). I'm about to go out and buy a control valve and make a better dripper with a tube. The cup I'm using isn't working as the water is pooling up on top of the fine screen of the cage.

Obsession or addiction, both words work. hehe

I use the adjustable drippers from Lowes with 1/4" irrigation tubing. They are nice since you can adjust the drip. I also use a valve inline so I dont have to mess with turning the dripper inside the cage. Connect that to a pond pump with a digital programmable lamp timer and you have an auto drip system. Drainage is another story. I built my own drainage tables that put all the runoff into a litter bucket on the floor underneath the cages.
