I have heard a humidifier is great but it is definitely not an exception for misting. As long as the chameleon looks hydrated and shows signs of hydrations then he/she is fine. Try and mist your chameleon just enough that the cage looks moist and not dry. I actually mist my chameleon's cage about 5-6 times a day. I also recommend a dripper they seem to work perfectly my chameleon loves his dripper. Good luck with your little guy <3I have a panther chameleon and I was wondering if I can leave the humidifier running during the day to keep the moisture up. If I leave it on it stays at 60% and I don't want it to drop lower. I also mist the cage and chameleon a few times a day.
