New Owner New Setup

@MissSkittles @Beman Could you please go over temperature and humidity, as I am not experienced in that area.
Sure. For a young cham, basking temps shouldn’t be any higher than 80 during the day. For females, this is also the same temp you’d want as they become adults. Adult males can have it a tad warmer up to 82-85. Ideal humidity needs to be between 30-50% during the day. At night you can use a humidifier (cool mist) or fogger for a few hours and have humidity go all the way to 100%.
While your little one is still very little, you do need to make sure he’s getting correct uvb levels and supplements as his body is growing fast. Until you can get the correct uvb, you can set it up so his bendy vine is about 3” below the uvb, but then bend it down below the basking light to the area of correct temp. You want the top of his back to be about 2” under the uvb. Attaching a graphic. The uvb you have has a very short range and narrow area to provide correct uvb, so the sooner you get the upgrades, the better. Then with a T5 fixture with a 5.0 uvb bulb, basking can be 8-9” below uvb lighting.

Thank you for your advice, and I did question the moss. I do have a green sheet substrate on the bottom that I was using originally. I guess I'll have to remove the moss and leave just that. I also believe he is about 2 months old. So to understand you better, I should feed him more than 2 crickets per day? I don't see him eating the meal worms but that might be cuz he isn't used to their location.
Yes I would see if he can eat as much as he can!

Absolutely! Let us know if you have any questions. 😃

Could you please post some photos of it's back feet to determine the gender?

I'm going to get those pictures but from what I've read about it I think its male. Regardless, I will post the pictures later today so we can verify.

I leaning towards male but not 100% confirmed Yet because it is still pretty young. I would wait a week and then post here again and we can see.

Sometimes females can have small spurs, but males usually have larger spurs...
And sometimes males have smaller spurs...
It's just a generalization.

Ok so what you folks think now? I think its male 🤔
