New Panthers Hatching!

Hey guys,

So after 11 long months of waiting, my Panther eggs are finally hatching! The first one just came out, and curled up against the side of the container (I didn't know what to do since it was the smallest egg first, so I took it out and put it in a smaller container with vermaculite to observe). I don't know if its ok, and I misted the container a little to see if it is. What now? When can I put him in a bigger communal enclosure and then introduce the others that hatch? Any help is much appreciated!

Wow, that is the most amazing thing ever, they are so tiny :) Well done and good luck.
We currently have eggs from our Panthers and 11 months is a long time to wait, people are amazed when we tell them how long it takes for them to develop and hatch. Cant wait for ours arrive. Hopefully at the end of the year they will start.

Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful babies hatch....keeping a eye on this thread in hope that you treat us to many more photos :)
Thank you.
Em x

How cute, congrats!

I'm glad that my reptile room stays at about 75-77*F, so I'm hoping that my clutch hatches out closer to the 7 month mark than 10-11 months! I have been very patient so far but we're at the 5 month mark now and I am starting to get very impatient! lol

WOW, Congrats!!! You are in Tempe too...make sure you keep an eye out for the AZ cham keepers BBQ coming soon ;)

I would wait til they are moving around the egg container to move them to their new home, but if he hasnt moved in a couple days try to get him/her out and spray him/her down with water to get your vermiculite/perlite of them..Ive noticed it keeps them weighed down to where they cant move..As soon as I did so, the lil guy or gal was all over the place! Hope this helps!!:D:D

Mine started hatching yesterday and there a couple of them Playing dead and the others were just walking around. I just picked them up and they woke right up and put them in their baby bins. Freaked me out bc I thought they were really dead!
