So I just got a vieled about 5 days ago just wondering what advice I can get about cage set up and everything also last night his head turned black and he hasn't opened his eyes all day today unless I open the cage and get close to him but here pictures of his enclosure I am removing substrate today and buying real plants to put in there my lighting is a zoomed blue day bulb and a 5.o uvb bulb I've been feeding him medium sized crickets about 10 a day

Hey 👋 not an expert here, but as i can see you are using the compact uvb, which is incorrect. It is crucial you use the long liner uvb, as the compact once absorbs most of the light and could cause a lot of health issues to your cham. As the day light it should be white bulb.. not red nor blue. As the enclosure you should consider upgrading to bigger one (as you need to provide space, where your chameleon to cool off, with smaller enclosure first you don’t provide much space for your chameleon to move around freely, nor a place to cool off) with more branches and plants, where the chameleon can hide.
Your cham is adorable, hope i helped ❤️

Thank you I am
planning on building bigger enclosure soon and I just replaced all the fake foliage and substrate to gove more room and add real plants instead of fake one And I was wondering about the light as well I actually made another post with the updates to the enclosure
