Looks like a great start! I myself would get a few more filler plants. Plastic vines and fake plants from zoomed work great. You can find cheap plastic vines at 99 cent store .

first WELCOME!!!
and like said it is a great start.
just a tip. if you take some fake vines like the ones at the dollar store and wrap them around the sticks it will give you alot more greenery and places for your cham to grab as well as a place for water droplets to form.
just attach one end with zip tie and wrap the vine around and then i like to leave the one end hagging down for the cham to use to get up and down
cheers gald you found us

Hello and welcome!:)
Great to hear somebody's doing some homework before getting a cham!
That's a good start, but it looks very bare especially at the top!
Let's put it this way: You are the cham, how do you like having a giant staring at you? :D You want to create an environment where the little guy feels secure and have the option to hide if he wants! Good luck:)

welcome! just like everyone said... need more cover. some fake vines to give the cham some cover from US, aliens. :):):)

Bump I have a question about the basking position for a branch

I am currently using a zoomed 75w basking bulb and I am stuck with a horrible analog thermometer until my therm/hyrdom piece comes in and I was wondering what would be the optimum distance for a branch to be below the bulb. I am getting a panther chameleon so I want to keep the temp at about 90 to 95 degrees.

How many inches do you all think?

Mines around 12 inches from the top of the cage. Just be careful not to keep it too close to the top of the cage or else your Cham might get burned.

Thanks to everyone for the tips here is the cage 2.0
