Hello all My names Duey!
Im new to the forum and New to being a dad of my new Male Veiled Chameleon named Abe. I purchased Abe from a local breeder with great reviews about 2 days ago. I have done a lot of research and have wanted a chameleon since I was a kid. He was born on 7/3/2016 hes 4 months old. I am posting a couple pictures of abe and his enclosure that i built myself. I have got a Ficus tree plant and a Pothos plant in there right now. I have two bendable vines in there for him. I have a couple questions regarding him and his enclosure.
Do you think his setup has to much in there?
Anything that you would recommend me do about his enclosure? Like add or remove anything?
Also I haven't had him but two days and hes still seems stressed? Is that normal?
I have is basking area at around 85-93 degrees and im using a reptisun 10.0 uvb bulb.
I was told by the breeder to just use a halogen floodlight from Walmart. is that true?
Take a look at the pics and recommend anything
