New to the board.

Here is Mr. Louie stuffed. They did a pretty good job and it took about 9 months waiting and $100 later. I'm glad I did it.

according to the lid, he is using mealworms:eek:

i believe they are super worms. Alot of pet stores for some reason cant be bothered with calling a super worm a super worm and instead call them meal-worms or "Giant meal worms" witch it says on the lid.

Btw Welcome to the forums!!! You have wonderful chams!

The pet store even has trouble helping me grab the mealworms/or superworms, because there are 3 different sizes and I like the middle because they're biger but not huge and I don't freak out when they eat them occasionally.

If you got any suggestions for yummy online ordered food I'd love to get some for the boys. They eat crickets and mealworms mostly.

OMG! I have never seen a stuffed chameleon before! When I first saw the pic I did not see the thread before that he had passed away(sorry) and I thought he looked strange. Now that is dedication and love there!

Louie passed away a few years ago, but he was so awesome and lived such a cool life I was ok once he passed and i grieved. I have saved bones too of some of my chameleons, so I can see what they look like to give me a better understanding of them.

Everyone thinks it's funny when I bring Louie out and sit him on the table and put a Santa hat and glow lights on this branch for Christmas.

you are too much! and I thought I was cham crazy!! lol!!!

lol. I love them so much! I want to have children soon and teach them all about chameleons and learn to love animals just as much as I do! Chameleons are my children and they are defiantly the best kids a mom could want! lol

Hi, and welcome to the forums. You have lovely chameleons. I also have Mellers (3), Asmar, Dayo and Bodie. All of mine are wc. I was noticing how nice yours looks - his rostral horn is intact and straight. Is he cb? Where did you get him. Thanks for sharing!

That is FANTASTIC! I just found that image so adorable.

Where did you go to get him stuffed? Did you have to send him away somewhere? How did you find someone who would do it? I've been toying with the idea of mounting the skeletons of my guys when they die (in many many years from now, of course! :D). I want to become a medical illustrator and already own and draw a variety of animal skulls/bones for projects, so I would love to feature my own guys in future studies. Their anatomy is so amazingly beautiful.

Beautiful beautiful beautiful guys you have!
