Sometime a mush diet and meds can cause diarrhea but seeing Dr. Wheehlock for a second opinion is a wise decision.

I also had my records faxed over to his office so he know what I know although i have a feeling with DR mumbo jumbo he might know more LOL. Please keep fingures crossed. and any help with info on a med box? what ever that is would be great.

No, continue feeding him. You don't want him to become weak.

I mean i syering feed him but still put live animals in his tank should I continue to do that? He stopped drinking and i had to force him to eat tonight. I hope DR Wheelock can help me. I dont want Pascal to suffer and I would like to see in grew BIG

No I would still offer live feeders depending on what you are offering? What are you offering as feeders? How far back are you placing the syringe in his mouth? If he didn't start out with a URI it's likely he aspirated some of the meds or liquid food if you didn't place the syringe far back enough. You can give him water orally as well without the need of a vet, until your vet is available to give fluids with an injection. However you have to be very careful about the placement of the syringe. Place the tip of 1cc syringe as far back in in his mouth as your can safely place it, I usually place it, in his throat just until the narrowed tip disappears. Even if he makes a gagging motion, if you do it quick enough you don't have to worry about gagging or vomiting it back up usually. I do it on a regular basis with my rescues. Usually if they vomit it up, its a sign of something worse. I don't usually give any liquids or medication in a volume more than .5 cc at a time depending on the size of your chameleon.Only full grown panthers or veileds get this much.

I offer worms( meal, wax and Phoenix) and crickets right now. i dotn put syring in his mouth at all i put the food on his nose and then he opens and sucks it in. my vet i was seeing didnt show me.. so i let him pull it in. I see Dr Wheelock tomorrow and he's on bottom of cage cold so i put a heat pack under a towel on bottom of cage.

My chameleon is about 4 months give or take I was told he was probably 7/2016 hatchling

If he's dehydrated I would do emergency care right now, what you do is grab him on either side of his head and wedge the syringe in between the crease of his mouth until he opens it. If he gapes take advantage of it and place the syringe back in the front of his throat. Use just above luke warm water when giving it to him. It will help warm him up. Only give him .3 cc to .2 cc. Then withdraw the syringe and allow him to swallow. Wait an hour and see how he does. Report back with any reactions and then after an hour. He will most likely not drink by himself because he's either gotten too dehydrated too or he's too sick to. I've noticed when panthers (I am guessing veileds too) get too dehydrated they won't drink. Unlike montane species who are usually good about drinking on their own even if they are dehydrated.

He drank a bit yesterday and I did get into him about 3 hours ago a syringe with Pureed worms,calcuim and water He took quite a bit should I wait a little while

UPDATE:: DR Wheelock looked at pascal. He doent think he has MBD which is Great However hes dehydrated and very weak. He things because of a past Repitory infection that worms in his tummy is causing some issue. So he gave a dewormer and a medication to help with a bunch of things anyway his prognosis is he can go either way and Im to feed him 3 x a day and to warm up his tank. So my question is what else can i do to keep tank warm I have windows that let sun light in should i put him near it? to let sun help warm tank up but yet in the shade enough to have a cool spot??

I wouldn't do sun... That is too unpredictable in my opinion. When you say tank do you mean you have him in a terrarium or aquarium set up? Even if it's a hospital set up? I won't tell you, you need a screen cage especially since your buddy is so sick that a glass cage might be more helpful at the moment, except with the respitory infection you have to be extremely careful not to over mist or allow it to be too wet. However, usually I add a small ceramic heat emitter, at a low wattage, so I can keep it on at night, if a vet says to keep him warm. Usually I try to get around a 40 watt or 60 watt, and depending on the cage set up decide what to do from there. I usually still prefer to get a ten degree drop in temp at night, but often houses can drop 15-20 degrees at night, with a healthy cham that is usually not a problem. But though you still want the benefits of a ten degree drop I wouldn't want to do much lower if I could help it until he's healthier.

Yes a terrarium I call it a tank.. he doesn't have a respitory thing now but that's what started it.. I have a red heat bulb and the tanks at 70 but I do have to get it warmer the dr said it would

Is it only 70 at night? Or during all the time? Also I would never use a red heat bulb at night. Ceramic heat emitters are the only safe night time heat emitting object that I know for a chameleon. They can't sleep correctly with any sort of light at night. Even if they seem asleep, they don't fall into correct and healthy sleep rythyms, often causing exhaustion and random sleeping during the day which is not a good sign.

I'm picking up a ceramic heat emitter today I didn't have the money and it wasn't cold in the house yet I use the other two lights during day. It has been 75 all the time but then it finally got cold now it's 70 vet wanted me to bump heat until pascal feels better.

no it was higher then that. Anyway Pacal Passed pecefully in his sleep today While I was at work. I have afeeling it was because he was a petstore pet and since he started eith a respitory infection i that went more saver and then was after a while miss diagnosed as MBD . My Next lizard will be bought from a legit breeder.
