Hello all! Happy to introduce myself, Benjamin, as well as my new Ambanja male "Turtle."

Would like to let you all view some photos and get some feedback as a new keeper of these wonderful animals.

This little guy arrived today from the good folks at Screameleons, nothing but good things to say about them.

Front left is an umbrella tree, front right bamboo, and back right (not visible) is some ivy.

Very proud to be a part of this community and looking forward to getting to know you all!!

Hey man, welcome to the forums! I hope you find it as informative as I did, if not more!
Cute little Cham, by the way! Keep us posted as he grows!
And screameleons has some good lookin' breeders, do they not? My little guy came from the same place. =]

Hi Benjaimin and welcome to the forums and chameleon ownership! You have a little cutie there. Your cage looks very nice! Not sure about the use of the ivy though. Did you check if it is toxic? most of us use the pothos for a vining plant. Panthers as a rule do not eat plants but sometimes they might and you just have to be careful.

welcome

welcome to the forum benjamin, your at the right place to learn everythin you would ever need to know, everyone on here is so friendly & full ov great advice, any worrys you have just post on here, you will b surprised how quickly these guys & ladies reply. cute little guy you have there.

I so have some pothos and have heard good things about it. Is it easy to break into smaller sections and place into pots? Basically just wondering what the best way is to introduce the pothos, have heard hanging, as well as potted on the bottom and guide its growth upwards... leaning towards the latter.

Welcome to the Forum :D
This is a great place with a lot of very experienced keepers who all share at least 1 thing in common... our chams. We all love our chameleon's. Turtle is cute.
Looking forward to seeing lots of picks of him as he grows. and like everyone else said if you ever have questions this is the place to find it. This forum is packed with great information on chameleon keeping!
Good luck with Turtle!! :D :D

Edit: I love the name too by the way now that I see it!!!

where you at in Florida? Take your cham out for as much natural sun as possible. It is good for them!

oh ok I thought we might have lived close to one another. yeah, definitely with the sun. He will love getting outdoors.

Just found a few pieces of info about the berries and leaves being mildly toxic... so out comes the ivy... not risking that!!

Still curious how some of your with a paper towel or similar substrate go about potting/installing your Pothos!?
