New Viv for Chameleon

Hello,

I have gone and purchased an AX36 (second hand) to house Jess in.

It looks like an older model as it is in silver and has the old style vents.

The previous owner added more vents to the AX36 also.

The substrate is not finished yet and requires a top layer of dendrosoil (currently sand and ecoearth)

It has been changed a bit since the above picture.

Any ideas on what else to do. Can not have soil too high due to bottom vents

I was thinking about using some weed barrier to cover the vents so air flow can still get in and out but will be adding Dendrosoil so it is bio active.

So far I have got

Two Parlour Palms,
A Madagascan Dragon Tree,
Golden Dragon Tree,
4 fake plants hanging from each vent,
about 6 vines
3 random bits of wood.

Once the Dendro soil has arrived I will be reorganising her plants etc.

Holy moly. I wish my house was that nice.. Look at her monkeying around in the third photo!

But truthfully, seriously AWESOME setup!! Must've been expensive.

Golden Dragon Tree - £12.98
Madagascan Dragon Tree - £12.98
Vines - £20-30
Wood £3-£12 (Total around £25)
Soil and Sand - £8 (bulk buy)
Dendro Soil - £8.99
Plastic Plants Came with old and new setup

So this setup cost me around £200-£220
