If you are using a red bulb in there, you might want to reconsider; they really aren't the best idea. Just a friendly tip! :)

So in the day I have the UVA and UVB on and at night because I worried he will get cold I have the night red light on. Is that ok?
 
A night light is completely unnecessary for your Veiled. In fact, chameleons appreciate a drop in temperature at night while they sleep. Assuming your house doesn't get below 60 degrees at night, your cham is fine. There is a member here on the Forums, jannb, who has a blog about veiled chameleon husbandry. You should check it out. I think you would get the majority of your questions answered there. I like the curio transformation by the way!!
 
The only bad this is it's hard to see inside because we used dog strength screen. I'm thinking about adding some LED strip lights on the inside for daytime so I can watch him.

I'm planning to do the same thing on my enclosure were you thinking of something like this:
