Non bioactive drainage solutions

Im constantly emptying water out of the bottom of my curent setup so im setting up a new 2x2x4 and want to incorporate some kind of drainage systems. I purchased a water heater drain pan but it doesnt drain until its half way full so i will need to drain it out of the bottom. Im just lost on how to go about this because i want the pan to be easily removed for normal cleaning and the pan itself is not sturdyenough to support the tank. What do others do for stands and drainage?

Good old gravity. I use wire racks but just put the front of the rack in a lower hole than the back. $25.00 drain pan from Home Depot with a hole in front, that drains into a bucket. I maybe empty it once a week. No overspray.

If you're looking for an automated approach and can't let gravity take it out thru a window or something, could always buy a condensate pump from your local big box for under $60 and then it can be pumped to where ever. Even up hill. Just plumb the pan to the pump thru the bottom with a drain pipe for a mobile home sink or similar. Pump will kick on and drain the rezzy when the float reaches the set point.

This is the solution i was looking for!!! Being able to angle the pan but not the tank itself. Do you know where you got that rack, and is that a 24x24"? I was thinking of making a stand with the pan as a drawr under the enclosure but this would be much easier!

This is the rack from Home Depot. It will actually give you two racks since they stack on top of one another. Plenty of space besides the enclosure for a reservoir, fogger, etc.

I got this idea from. @Andrew1283. I use a similar/ less expensive rack that I purchased from Amazon. I drilled holes in the center floor of my Reptibreeze. I have a huge potted plant that sits on the floor to create a slight funnel in the middle of the cage floor. Water drains only from the middle of the floor.
This allows the water to drain into a 30 x 30 DuMor rabbit cage tray that sits on the second shelf. I use a wet vac weekly to remove the water. I love this set up. It made water management a breeze. The rack has worked really good.

Add more plants and the humidity will stay and less misting will be required. What kind of enclosure do you have?
