i came home and i found a lot of my crickets dead or dying. what could it possibly be?

the only thing i did was
1. move them to another tank so i can clean up its poop.
and
2. feed it bon vivant blend lettuce,( them lettuce that have a purple top)

could it be one of the two things i did? it have been cold lately but they have survive most of the cold night with no one dying.

When you cleaned the tank did you use a differant cleaning solution? Maybe not rinse it well?

Was the lettuce washed well to prevent pesticide from being ingested?

Just two possible thoughts.. That totally sucks about your crickets, especially after going through the trouble to clean there tank.. bbbblllaaahhh.

How big is the tank??? I found so many of my crickets dying because I was housing them too crowded. I recently just made a new cricket bin with increased ventilation and have had no problems as of yet

I just use the water hose to clean my ten gallon tank, and i did wash the lettuce before feeding it to them

Update*

i found.out that most of them were just sheeding but not all of them made it, most off thrm.couldnt walk or use their back legs, what sup with.that?
.

Not using their back legs sounds like the CrPV virus. How long had you had them? It usually shows up immediately as you get them if they are infected with it when you purchased them.
