I know I wasn't sure if sometimes they change rapidly from a young age or can show other colors he's only 3 months old... but we kinda figured we got screwed when we got him he was brown and ran so of course we didn't have anything to go off of until now.... disappointing we didn't get what we thought but I wanted to make sure because the breeder is a friend and I didn't want to confront him unless I was sure
No, this is
Agreed, may not be a nosy be but he will still be a stunner. I think Amobile but definitely don't quote me on that. Probably shouldn't even be guessing...

thank you so much for your replies I really appreciate it! ?
What you have there is a F. paradalis.
See? Told you I shouldn't be guessing! lolWhat you have there is a F. paradalis. Not a Nosy Be, not a Ambilobe, just a F. paradalis, Panther Chameleon.
Treat him as such . (IE No breeding, if you do Breed, sell as mixed/unknown)
My breeder is trusted he's a great breeder but I understand your point. Thank youFixed
Agree with others on the color changes as he gets older. His current colors are practically meaningless. Also, there is little to no way to confirm locale with 100% certainty as there is a great deal of variation between F. pardalis in the same locale. That is one reason why people here recommend only purchasing from trusted breeders.
