Hi all recently picked up a male nosy faly, got him in a full bio active setup, looking to see other chams and setups to gain some inspiration, also if anyone noticed any interesting traits or story regarding the nosy faly locale

He’s approx 3 - 4 months I believe, can’t wait for him to grow out into some colourSo cute!!How old is he ??

It’s a habistat 24 x 18 x 36, glass viv with mesh lid , keeping temps and humidity perfect atm

There the best I have atm, will take some more in the morning all lights etc are powered down now and don’t want to wake him

He is a cutie. If your fogging during the day when lights are on and the enclosure is above 68 degrees this is not the best idea and can lead to an RI. Your going to want to add many more horizontal branches for him to be able to bask.

It doesn't look like it has ventilation at the bottom. Couldn't this be an issue?
Yes, anytime your dealing with an enclosure that does not have proper air flow your dealing with stagnant air. We want to always avoid this with chams. It is one thing to fog them at night with correct airflow and movement but another to fog them when it just sits and fills up an enclosure.

Tbf that pic was taken on the day we got him right after he was set up, needed to get some humidity in to the tank, but glad you like it he’s just being misted in the day manually but will be upgraded to a mistaking or monsoon solo soon enoughYea I agree with @Beman that 2nd one is a cool looking pic though but fogging should be done at night 12am-5pm

I would definitely opt for the mist king! There's currently a thread right now with someone's monsoon breaking. I have no troubles w my mistking.

The only thing that puts me off the mistaking is the fact I need a separate container for the water and to fit the pump, seen as it’s in the living room in full view I need something that looks neat and tidy etc
Mistking all the way... Others are cheap and break. Mistking you pick your reservoir size which is great if you go on vacation and need to have 5 gallons of water for the week your gone. Makes it easier to have things totally automated when you have a pet sitter come in to check and feed them.

True that ally agree with that, just need to make it fit the aesthetics of the house / living room, it was the built in timer option on it that does it for me, more in depth with being able to set different durations of misting throughout the day etc

Mistking comes with a better timer too
You can set the exact time and the duration for each misting... with the other all in one brands like the reptirain and the monsoon it only has the ability to pic the length of time and duration for every misting. ex 30 seconds every 4 hours.

Few from tonight before lights go out, he seems to be growing so quick, still trying to figure his exact age, breeder said sub 5 months which looks about right
