Not eating

Ok,so my chameleon Louie,seems to be doing really good compared to how he was before with both eyes closed alot,now he has his good eye open all the time,and his bad eye open occasionally. He is shedding now. He isnt eating his crickets though, even when im not in the room,is this because hes shedding?

maybe, but our scooter has always eaten while shedding.

it could simply be that its that time of year. cold bkooded animals in the winter slow down with thier metabolizm and that slows how much they eat.

If he has eye issues though I would take him in to the vet. Ours quit eating for a month straight and just came out of it. I dont know why he stopped eating but he did. We had to force feed him til he got sick of us holding his mouth open and decided to eat on his own. We r now having to fatten him up again but hes doing good now. we just gotta wait til summer when he starts eating like a lil pig again, right now its just a few crickets a day not the 10 he used to eat but a few is better than none!!

How long has he not been eating crickets? What else are you feeding him? Is he drinking?
