Not Going to be Around Much

This week. THIS WEEK. In the past 6 days:

• My identity was stolen. All my money, savings, RRSPs, student line of credit... everything... is gone. I'll get it back eventually (thanks to insurance) but right now I'm busy fighting with banks, law enforcement and insurance people.
• I had to euthanize my favourite pet lizard. RIP Toothless.
• My mother was diagnosed with her fourth type of cancer- and there are no treatment options left. As a result, my terminally ill mother moved in with me yesterday.

So, I'm going to be a bit busy for the next while. Hopefully I didn't leave too many threads dangling, but I just don't have the time to post every day as I more or less have been. I'd like to, but I don't think it's a realistic goal anymore. Anyways, I didn't want anyone to think I a) was dead or b) had left the forum entirely!

Oh no! That's awful, one of my worst fears. I hope it all gets straightened out as quickly as possible.

I'm so sorry about your Mom. Try to take care of yourself, too. It's too easy to forget to look after yourself when things get stressful.
