Most of you know I have/had a clutch of deremensis eggs due to hatch in sept. Well sept came early. I have been out of town for 2 days and was just checking everyone out. I checked the eggs to be sure I had ok humidity. It was fine, there were also 19 babies in the tub. I haven't looked at the tub since sunday as they were not due yet. I have no idea when they started hatching.
Pictures will be along later, right now they are in cages misted & fed. I am going to have a pina colada and put my feed up.
 
AWESOME Laurie, congrats!! I've been looking at Deremensis and was thinking, "hmm I bet no one really breeds them," of course you breed them! Now I'm a little bit jealous and want one! :D I love the look of them.

They are not quite ready for new homes yet.:eek: Only 4 more left to hatch. One has his head out. I am leaving in a week, want to baby sit?

Hehe I didn't mean I was going to steal one from you right this minute. I'd prefer you do all the hard work ;) But guess what?! My mom likes these guys even with their horns :D

And I would love to baby sit, why couldn't I live in Montana?? You would get sick of me very soon though!! ;):p

Thanks Danny. My friend who is caring for the chams part of the time I am gone is completely freaking. Hubby doesn't know about the babies yet. He was giving me the old - no more for me to take care of while you are gone. Baby what a big suprise. Bet I an in the dog house.
 
Good job Laurie! I read this and checked my quad eggs to see if there was a new member of the gang yet :/, no luck though. I have a month left until I see those little guys :)

Congratulations, no wonder your tired getting ready for those babies!

You may be in the dog house with your hubby but I know those sweet babies are worth it. Can not wait for pictures!
 
WOO HOOO!!! Yay!! Hhhhmmm...I see a trade coming on. =) As you know, Luis' just started hatching, too. Nice..... :D

Yes he and I have talked about this a lot. He was the first one I called about my babies hatching. It would have been nice if they waited for me to get back, but better this than them hatching while I am in FL.
 
Congrats Laurie!!!! They are such a cool species. Babies never come when it's convenient that is for sure, cham or human LOL.
