Ok today I clean my Kiwi's cage today and made a little change he seemed to not like it so I moved it back so it was normal, but the rest of day he had some dark colors and wasn't friendly Anyone have any idea he has never been like this (he is a male so don't go saying he wants to lay eggs!):cautious:

Show us some pics so we can help you better since we are not the fortune teller with the Crystal ball.

Ok what type of cham is Kiwi?
What did you change in his cage?
Is this behavior you saw today are the very first time?

1.he is a veiled 2. I moved 1 vine at one corner to the corner beside it 3. the first time other then when I first got him

Veiled cham can be aggressive and picky sometimes, was that vine you moved to other corner is his spot....like basking or pooping spot
Keep eye on him tomorrow, just to see if he still in the pissy mood, try offer him some of his favorite feeder,or just leave him along for couple days,I doubt he will remember anything after the time goes by.

Change is hard on chameleons. Leave him be and let him settle down. It was a big day full of giant predators invading his space and moving his whole world around.

Is he normally friendly? My experience with veiled males is they are normally pissed off and ****. I have owned veiled chams for years, and I dont worry about their demeanor unless they are sluggish and or lethargic.

he is usually happy with bright turquoise colors when he eats and usually he's not afraid to stay wide out in the open when yesterday he was hiding

You could try giving him some outside time. Blanche always is very loving during and after she gets to go outside.

Can the cage be set outside I sometimes put blanche in her first smaller cage for outside time when I don't have time to sit with her on her dogwoods.

But Kiwi is in his Only cage and I got him to go outside and he tried to run away and was dark colors what could I be doing WRONG:(
