Not sure what's going on with my veiled

Hey I'm new to this forum so I'm not exactly sure if this is the right spot for my question but I have a 1year old female veiled chameleon(cami) she was egg bound when I got her I took her into a speacialised herp vet and had the eggs remove and she is now fixed she has been doing well since. That was done over 4 months ago. She is housed in a repta breeze cage 18x18x36 high. The humidity is between 60-70%. Humidity is provided by a visible cool mist humidifyer and is controlled by a zoomed reptotherm as well as the 100watt basking bulb. I have a reptisun 5.0 tubular UVB buld on top also she drinks well and eats great. There are two live plants both shefflera, along with fake bones and foliage. my question is why does she always stay a brownish color not the nice bright green color? Her whole set up is in a room that has no traffic.

You obviously care a great deal about her. She's lucky to find you and to survive egg binding so well. Bravo!

How old is your ReptiSun light?
What are you gutloading and dusting with, and what's your dusting schedule?
Can she see other chams or pets or does she seem to be stressed about anything?

Just an idea (as I haven't been around a spayed cham myself): When you first got her she was gravid, so probably displaying a more intense color because of it. Maybe her "normal" relaxed coloration is less green, more brown, but until lately you haven't been seeing it. Brighter more intense color is a sign of stress.

What is her basking temp and ambient temp?
You are so lucky to have a good vet who was able to spayed her ! And your girl is very lucky having you!!! I wish my girl survived her egg laying, I had an appointment to spayed her....

Hey thank you for responding I dust her crickets with calcium(without D3) twice a week and dust them with calcium with D3 once a week. I gut load the crickets and super worms with potato, kale, and squashe. I just replaced the UVB yesterday it was 6 months old and was a coil bulb I now have her set up with a reptisun 5.0 tube.
And no she can't see other pets she is spoiled and has her own room in my house
The ambient temp in the room is 25 degrees Celsius at basking at 95F.

And ya it was a long road after her surgery she could not open her eyes for about two weeks prior and a week after I was hand feeding her and giving her water via a needle less syringe an she made and excellent recovery.

I forgot to mention I had refurnished her cage about a week ago now to remove old vines and plants for washing

You should adjust your dusting schedule a bit. She should be getting plain calcium (no D3) lightly each day. Calcium with D3 twice a month. A herp multivitamin twice a month.

Maybe the cage refurbishment has upset her a bit...chams do not appreciate change!

I would suggest to use the calcium without D3 every feeding and calcium with D3 twice a month!
Her temps seem fine, although the basking is a little bit high but if she is happy, just leave it.
Sandrachameleon has great gutloading recipes. I don't like potatoes, it is not very nutritious... I make my own dry gutload mix by Sandrachameleon, use the veggies she says and my crix always just grow and grow...
I just gave you tips because I think if cami seems fine( nice poop, pee, eats and is hydrated and active...) you shouldn't be worried!

They are brown when basking. Related to how they absorb the suns rays.

this morning she had white crust around her nostrils i have read a few things on other sites about this but they all had different opinions on what it was i was looking for some good input from any one thanks again
