obesity

I have cut back on feeding. I give him 3 dusted crickets every day. I use repashy calcium plus loD, every day. I gut load using repashy super load, and bug burger, and veggies. That lump has been there for about a year. With the virus going on, our vet has been hard to get into. They won't let you in right now about half the time.
Ok so you want to curb back to 2-3 every other day for sure. You do not want them to lose weight too quickly either. It needs to come off gradually the same way as it went on gradually. What I have found effective with Beman is reducing to a smaller feeder and then only doing 2-3 small feeders 3 times a week. This has produced a gradual weight loss over the last 4 weeks of 8 grams. I tried getting him to lose weight by doing every other day 2-3 feeders of a medium to large size and he did not lose or gain but maintained the same weight for 2 months...

Now I do offer a variety and mix it up. 1 day 2 small crickets and 1 small dubia, another day 1 small cricket and a silkworm, another day a hornworm, 1 small dubia and a BSFL. So that he is still getting a variety with his feeders. But only ever do I give small feeders now. crickets are 1/4 size and dubia are the smalls.

Per the spot... That really needs to be checked out by a reptile vet that is experienced with them. That is not normal at all and looks like it is quite large. Is it growing?

best I could get

the spot was smaller, but it hasn't changed for quite a while.
