Not sure if he is drinking, he has a mistking that goes off 4 times a day for 5 minutes and a dripper. He is hooked on hornworms though, so he just might be holding out for them. I offered butter worms, meal worms, roaches, and super worms and he is not interested.
 
Now calm down. You are not in over your head. You know there are a bunch of us who will but the eggs. You are perfecting what you are doing, some times you will go over, sometimes under, that is all about learning the supply and demand in your crop (eggs). You willbe just fine. We are all very proud of your success . Just relax and enjoy it.

Oh Laurie you are so supportive. I cant wait to send you some eggs! ha! This is going to be some serious work for the next couple weeks.
 
See I was right, so far you have 3 of us wanting to buy eggs. Now you need to start a thread in the classifieds. I think you are up and running. Are horn worms eggs like silk worms eggs? Can I keep some in the frig until I want them to hatch? I will pm my order now:):)

Just one ore question is the tomato plant inside the cage? I put a pothos in my cage, and my hummer feeder is filled and ready. Now if my stupid tomato plants would grow faster!!!

I started out using a pathos, but now I just let them lay on the tomato plant. They like it better. Unfortunately the eggs can't be refrigerated like silkworms.
 
The eggs are going to hatch within 3 days so you need to make some hornworn chow cups asap. 16 moths is not really that much at all, you could have 1 female among those and barely get 50 eggs out of the bunch. or you could get more eggs than you know what to do with. Either way 16 is the perfect amount IMO. a 1/2 lb bag of hornworm chow can make around 5 cups. What are you doing with the eggs now? I show how I setup my hornworm cups in the thread below. The last couple times I only had 4 and 6 moths and ended up with hundreds of eggs. With 6 moths I had over 1,000 eggs. I usually just try to ship out the extra eggs right away so that i don't have to worry about making cups. I did order some cups just in case I can't mail the eggs out fast enough. I only have 1 Jackson's Cham so I don't need that many eggs. Plus I have a ton of silk worms that just hatched.

Well in that case, send me some! :D San Antonio is not that far. Or maybe you should think about getting a panther so you dont have to give away so much food ;)
 
I REALLY want a panther. We have been talking about it. I think my only worry is having more than one for someone to take care of when we are on vacation.

Ha! You live so close! Eggs would probably get there the next day. Let's hope these moths get busy and make us tons of eggs.
