:( Olive looked fine 2 days ago - last night she looked a bit dehydrated - even tho she was drinking - this AM she was on the bottom of the cage, her eyes were very sunken, but Olive being Olive, and always wanting to eat - , I picked her up, she ate 2 horn worms, and I put her in a tote , as she was weak - I never even got a chance to call the vet - I am sure this has to do with me going away :( she was eating, drinking - I just dont get it - I will miss my big crazy girl, and the goofy things she was always up to - I dont think I will ever find another cham like her - I will miss her so much :(

I wanted to share a few pics of her - the first pic is THE LAST pic of her , she does not look sick to me - this was 2 days ago, and her letter to Santa , and just hanging around with Sneaks

Oh no Cheryl. This is such heartbreaking news. I am so sorry you lost Olive. You have my most sincere condolences.

That's such terrible news, I'm so sorry for your loss! I know how much Olive and her antics meant to you, and I know you will have a huge void in your heart. My thoughts are with you.

Cheryl I am so sorry. It really sounded like she was going when you called. Sometimes they can go so fast, and Olive was not a young cham. But hey she had a happy life, being spoiled while she was with you. How much more could you ask for? When you are ready we could pick another one together.

RIP Olive, you were a one of a kind girl.

This is so sad to hear! I am truly very sorry for your loss. That Santa letter picture is adorable. You can tell you had a lot of love for the little girl. Rest in peace, Olive. :(

So very sorry to hear of Olive's passing, Cheryl. I didn't ever think I would be writing another condolence to you so soon. These chams can really do a number on our hearts. So, so sorry. RIP Olive.

Thanks everyone - I am so upset - I did not even go to work :( I am waiting for one of my vets to get back w/ me on what was in her- her kidneys were HUGE- and had some kind of tumor - so I am sure me going away did not help things at all, but if you saw her kidneys - I do not know how she lived as long as she did - she was also very old - not that this makes me feel any better - but she never stopped eating - she ate right before she passed - and she looked "tired " to me yesterday, a bit dehydrated last night - but I knew when I found her this
AM , she was not going to pull thew this - it was very fast, when she was drinking normally, and still her eyes were so sunken - I knew it was bad - but so fast - I had to wait for the vet to open to even call , she did not even make it that long - nothing made sense , less then 12 hrs of symptoms, and then only one - sunken eyes. never off her food, or water, until the very end, she would not drink - I still can not believe she is gone :( my crabby vine lump ~

Oh I am so so sorry about Olive; I remember you struggling with her over slugs a while back and was so happy that she got better! I really enjoyed reading about her antics and will miss that. It is so hard to lose a pet and especially when you have something come out of the blue like that. You certainly loved her and took excellent care of her so I know she was a happy girl! Again my sympathies to you.

I'm so sorry to hear about Olive. R.I.P. little girl.
We've both lost a little Jackon's girl recently, and I had no idea how much I would miss her, and I still do. Every time I look outside at her home, there's a lump in my throat, and it's been a month now.
Anyway, I just wanted to tell you how much I loved hearing Tales of Olive. She was such a character wasn't she! She didn't suffer long so that was good, and she was with you until the end.
