Excuse the bag around the plant pot..it's not there anymore I now have something more appropriate to catch the water lol

Aww Yoshi is too cute! Congrats!! I like your setup for Yoshi too. I would just add some branches in it. Those vines are great but they branches will help them explore a little more into the plants if you get what I mean.

Well, I own a male veiled chameleon. His name is Reptar and I just got him 4 days ago. I wouldn't ask for a better first chameleon. He is about 5 months right now. He just started eating yesterday which made me happy. I just fed him his breakfast haha. 12 crickets and 2 small dubia roaches. Like I said, Yoshi is cute. They do grow up too fast :( By the way, I like your tattoo.

Haha those rant mine, their my friends boyfriends tattoos..,lol he's the one who was fortunate to have 30 little babies haha hence why I'm still seeing Yoshi as he's growing up.

I'm picking up a few bamboo sticks and branches next week for him.
He's so little I'm scared he's going to get lost in it haha

Oh my bad but that's sweet of him giving you Yoshi and that's cool you know someone who owns a chameleon and likes them in person haha. That's good. Branches are great for them because they love to climb. Don't get me wrong, the vines are great too but sometimes it's best to put some branches that go through the trees and create different levels in your cage. For instance, the basking spot put a few branches, then lower it a little put a few more, then lower it more, etc. make sure he has ways to get to the other branches. He's still a baby so he won't be able to stretch too much. Don't worry he won't get lost. He'll just explore until he gets comfortable. Your plants look very well. I would suggest to trim them just a little bit so that way you could see where Yoshi is at.

I've been trimming it back...must admit that is a photo of when I first set the cage up a couple weeks ago. So there are bits added and changed since then. But I didn't want to loose too much of the dense as I don't want him to feel its to open.

But I'll deff keep this in mind as well need to move the branches around the heat lamp still..but that's what I'll be spending this week doing...preparing haha

Oh don't worry about it then. That's great though. Good luck with anything and if you need anything or have questions, I am here :)
That's what I did last weekend. I setup for my chameleon and he arrived on Wednesday.

I'm terrible I keep changing things I just need him to be here already so ill leave the enclosure alone hhaah

I was the exact same way. I posted like three threads saying I'm done with my cage and I kept adding and taking things out haha but that's great that you want to be prepared for Yoshi so you're not stressing later on.

Yah im a preparer..lol dunno how these people who literally go out and come home with one and are literally setting the cage up that same day lol

Exactly! I wonder the same thing. I actually got all my things, my dripper, bulbs, hood, sprayer, vines, plants, branches, food, vitamins, calciums, and everything else right before I got him, so when he came to his new house I was prepared. Yeah it took about a week longer but it was well worth it because all I had to do was just put him in his cage and that's it. He absolutely loved it and explored all over :)
