Ophelia's Day Out

Hi :)

I just wanted to share the fun outdoor trip Ophelia had today. I try to get her out 1 a week, but the weather has been hit and miss so today was a treat!

She loves the hibiscus - the branches are thicker, but there wasn't any direct sun so I moved her to my over-grown purple bush-tree-thing (yes, that is the technical name for it :p ). She climbed up to the top, found a nice spot and just chilled for 30 mins or so eating the crane flies that happened to drift by.

Brought Ophelia out again today while I worked on the organic, raised-bed veggie garden. Today, instead of scooting away from me the second she gets close enough to a branch... she climbed over towards my side of the bush, found a spot up high and sat and watched my daughter and I work. I guess she wanted to make sure we were doing it correctly :LOL: I moved her into the sun to get some proper D3 :)

I am pretty sure the plant you had her on that has the purple flowers is called purple nightshade, we have it too. If it produces green berries, that's what it is ^^

You read my mind... I was going to ask if anyone knew what it was. Safe for chams? I hope!

No I would not put a cham on it, and especially a plant snacker like a veiled. Most nightshades are highly toxic and there is no antidote to their poisoning.

No not joking at all... I wouldn't joke at all about something like that o_O

I know you wouldn't but I was just hoping :( because the truth is she munched some ... not today, last time she was out. I'm racing home now to see if they have berries which I don't remember seeing
