Orchard Swallowtail Butterfly - Papilio aegeus?

Hi all,

Found some catapillars on my lemon tree this morning and after a web search it seems to be the above. Does anybody know if these are ok to feed to chams? I think my Oustalet would jump at the sight of this big green bug! My trees are not sprayed with pesticides so I don't think there is any chance of poisoning, but I'm not sure if the worms are edible.

Are they hairy? Would irritate the throat going down.

No the worms aren't hairy, looks pretty much like a silkworm except a vivid lime green colouration.

but can you feed chameleon with butterflies?

As far as I know yes, but I was thinking about feeding the worms before they pupate. (Obviously leaving a few to become butterflies and lay eggs - like we do with silkworms.)
