Outdoor enclosure ideas

I want to get an outdoor enclosure set up this summer. I'm moving in a year so I don't want anything to build anything too permanent. I was thinking one of those outdoor walk-in bird cages or like a netted picnic tent. Would like to here any ideas you all have or anything you're currently using.

Well it'll be for my parson's and 4 Panthers. Obviously not all at once. If I could separate them into enclosure that would be cool. I'll use my hose for misting and this will mainly just be for the day. Though I want to give my Parsons his own outdoor cage that he can go to from inside, through the window, and outside, as he pleases.

I'm just interested in hearing any creative ideas. Often times it's easy to overlook a lot of options so I like to see what others have to say.

Bill Strand has an interesting idea. He uses standard cages set on top of matching sized planters. Of course he can afford all the cages he needs. I think I saw his set up on one of the early pod casts about keeping Jackson's. He keeps his outdoors.

Like this, but outside?

I'm looking for something big, but easily moveable. There's no regular cages large enough for the Parsons, but maybe I could attach to some reptibreezes together. Something raccoon proof would be important too.

Yup. I will say this, if you are going for screen cages outside, you better build a chain link fence around the outside. Its real easy for outdoor critters to dig a hole right through those reptibreeze XL's :( Odds are they are just there for the food/smells, but that doesnt mean Mr parson wont walk right out the hole later on.

I would check out some diy outdoor tegu enclosures, and then build the cham sanctuary inside.

@nightanole yeah I'm worried about an animal ripping into it. We have a lot of raccoons and even some coyotes lately. Ahhh if I look up tegu enclosures, I'll want a tegu even more than I already do. The wife would kill me :(

@nightanole lol, are they always like that? Or is he/she new?

They tend to spend 2/3 of their time in a hole, if you provide a big enough digging box. So her daily routine is come out of hole and bask for 30min, go back in hole for a few hours, repeat. Even if you check all the youtube videos, They are always in their hides/holes, unless the poor things dont have a hide/hole.

A chameleon will always be crawling around on the rocks and floor, if you dont provide it with sticks :p
